Hello everyone! Happy October – can you believe it? This year is going by entirely way too fast. This month promises to be an exciting one – we are going to move into our own place soon, and sometime after that our newest family member will arrive! Can’t wait! 🙂 Things here are going well: we’re working on potty training, I’m meeting new people, learning more Portuguese… have I mentioned duolingo on my blog yet? It’s helped me so much. It’s a free language learning website and I do a little bit of studying every day. If you are interested in learning another language you should definitely check it out.

Shasta got a “boo-boo” at the playground this day – he managed to face plant the sand by diving over a swing, and then getting hit in the back of the head by it! He was pretty upset for about three minutes, then got right back on the swing. It’s all healed up now 🙂
