59/365 & 60/365

We’re back home safe and sound.  We had really good drives both ways, Shasta behaved pretty decently, praise the Lord!  The roads were great and we had sunshine the whole time.  We got to do some shopping, sushi eating, playing and swimming at the Canada Games Centre… can I just say that place is amazing??  They have an indoor playground, free for children under two and their parents.  Swimming was a big hit – they have so many fun things to do and see in the pool, lots of toys and whirlpools and shallow parts and giant bears spewing water.  Paradise for a 1.5 year old!  We also went to check out the snow sculptures that they do every year as part of the Rendezvous festival… they are always so amazing!  Here’s one:

And here’s a shot from our drive back today:

And we also saw a lynx!  I was driving so Nuni snapped this picture really quick:

From a distance I thought it was a dog!

Happy March everyone!  How did that happen?!  I have a feeling this year is going to go by way too fast…
