Floripa, Part Six

In case you’re wondering… yes, there is a small part of me that misses Canada/Watson Lake/our home.  But we are still having a fabulous time and I love it here so much.  I have especially enjoyed spending time with Nuni’s friends and family and getting to know them more.  They have made me feel very welcome, and I appreciate that so much.   Here’s what we’ve been up to lately:

Our friend Bruno called one night and asked if we'd like to attend this concert. We had an awesome time!

On Friday we went to Rio Vermelho and stayed overnight at our friends’ Paulinho and Fernanda’s house.

Yesterday we went to hang out with friends Renato and Bruno at their beach house in Ingleses.  We had such a great time.

Typical afternoon coffee - complete with a fresh carrot cake Bruno made. I'm going to try to make the traditional Canadian carrot cake next time, just to compare :) - any excuse to eat cake!
