Floripa, Part One

We’ve been here on holidays for a few days now, and having an absolutely fabulous time.  As expected, Shasta is a hit with Grandma, Grandpa, aunt Carol and cousin Kalani.  It’s so awesome seeing them interact, and they’ve been super helpful, watching him so Nuni and I can go out and have some fun!!!  And fun we have had!   One evening was particularly memorable… we managed to go out around 8pm and returned at 6am.  HA!  I can’t even remember if I have ever, ever done that in my life.  Definitely not something you can do every night… but it was awesome and I don’t regret it for a second.

Anyways, here’s just a few pics of our time so far.  I borrowed a small digital camera to carry with me on the streets – last time I carried my Nikon visibly it was stolen, so I’m a little more cautious now.  The most important thing though is to capture the details and memories, even if the pictures aren’t AMAZING.  Okay, enough babbling!!   Pictures!

lots of street performers while the light is red. I don't know how they do it, standing out there all day in the heat!
