Shasta and I just returned from a trip to Southern Ontario and we had a marvellous time. Here’s the footage:
Before we flew out we visited our friends the Drummond’s in beautiful Haines Junction. This is the road leading up to their house.
Here we go! I just love looking at the mountains… they go on for miles and miles.
Shasta did well on the plane rides. On the first one, we sat next to a very nice lady named Wendy who totally took on the Grandma role. She held him and played with him and did just about as much work as I did keeping him entertained. I was so grateful to Wendy. On our flight from Vancouver to Toronto, we met a lady who offered to watch him for a while. He ended up falling asleep in her arms for over an hour. It was so precious. And nice for me to have a break! Entertaining a squirmy, active one year old for four hours on a plane is no easy task.
welcome to Huron County!
Cashew… aka the little prince. Looking very regal here I might add.
